World Vegan Bakesale Day!
April 30th, 2011, 12 Noon to 4pm

In celebration of World Vegan Bakesale Day for the SECOND year, Friends of Animals is teaming up with Sarah Kramer (How It All Vegan and La Dolce Vegan fame) to put on this fundraising event, rasing money to print more of FoA's Vegan Starter Guides (PDF) for local distribution. (They're printed on 100% PCW paper, soy inks, etc.)
We'll also be holding a raffle! Lots of great prizes including books, Sarah's calendars, gift certificates from around town and more! Thanks to OrganicAthlete Victoria for organizing! Tickets will be $2 each or 3/$5. You do not need to be present to win. Raffle prize listing: click here!
The bakesale will be from 12 noon to 4pm on Saturday, April 30th. Come on down to Tattoo Zoo (1215 Wharf St) and pick out some delicious vegan goodies, including treats from Sarah Kramer herself! Bring along some containers and get extras for later!
Bakers Needed! Send us a note if you'd like to contribute; if you haven't baked vegan goodies before, it's super-easy, and we'll help you out. =)
